Summer Learning Journey / Day 5 / Somone / Last Activity for week 2
For this task I picked Maria Folau She is a Netball Player she 32 Years old she is one of the best netball Attack.I play netball But I am D-Defense When I grow I want to be Like Maria Folau. I really like netball because we share the ball around.
I’m Dani, one of the blog commenters for the Kaikohekohe cluster for the Summer Learning Journey. I have heard some great things about the students at Panmure Bridge School so I thought I would jump on and check out some blog posts.
Wow! you have been very busy completing Summer Learning Journey activities. Remember the Summer Learning Journey is about completing quality posts so it’s okay to spend extra time on posts so you can really show what you have learnt from the activity. Maria Folau is a very well known netball player. Did you know she has been playing netball for New Zealand for 14 years! She has played 150 games as a Silver Ferns. I play indoor netball and I play as a defender like you. What’s your favourite thing about playing netball? My favourite thing is having a run around and playing with my friends.
As it is the holiday period many of the Summer Learning Journey team are currently away from work and are spending some time with their friends and family. This means that you would get many encouraging comments over this time. We want you to keep blogging and we will comment on as many of your posts as we can when everyone is back at work!
Hi Liletina! Maria Folau sounds like a great role model, especially because you both play Netball! Thank you for telling us about her, I bet she's a great player too...What position does she play? I hope you conquer your goals Liletina, Nice work!
Hi Liletina, It's great that you look up to someone like Maria Folau. I don't watch netball but I have heard that she is a pretty good player. What is your favorite thing about her? How many times has she played for the Silver Ferns? Keep up the good work.
