  1. Hi Lietina - my youngest son saved up and bought his own 3D printer...The 3D printing process builds a three-dimensional object from a computer-aided design model, usually by successively adding material layer by layer, which is why it is also called additive manufacturing which can help in many many ways. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep your learning up over the school break!

  2. Hi Liletina! Prosthetic hands are a beautiful thing, and it's amazing that the volunteers are helping these children. And I agree that it's pretty surprising to realize how many people are missing a hand. It's unfortunate that their disability was holding them back from doing so many things. But I think making the 3D prosthetics free and available helps the kids and their families a lot. Nice work!

  4. Hi Liletina,
I agree with you that it is great that there are prosthetic limbs being provided for a cheaper cost to families who don't have enough money to afford the prosthetics at their normal cost. It is also good that they are helping kids before they grow up so they can get the chance to play on the playground like other people their age. Keep up the good work.
