Summer Learning Journey / Day 2 / Task 2 / School Strike.

I help my mum clean up the rubbish outside. I really think if you waalking and you drop a rubbish on the floor on propose then you kind of killing animals and making other people pic up your own rubbish. Sometimes I see people walk and drop things. I see animals dieing because people are droping rubbish on the floor. People use there time to make rubbish bins. We NEED TO USE OUR BINS!

  1. Kia ora Liletina,

Well done for participating in this years' SLJ programme, "Changemakers: People who have changed the world" - you are such a good citizen for helping pick up rubbish, even if it isn’t yours! I totally agree with you about rubbish affecting our animals and I think it is terrible that people purposely drop rubbish on the ground. How do you think you can encourage your friends to help you with looking after our animal life or even to stop the act of litter?

Please don't forget to attribute your images. This is when you say where you got your photos from. Here is the link if you don't know how.

We give out full marks when you attribute your photos!

  2. Hi Liletina! I'm also assuming you would've read about the School Strike 4 Climate protest in this activity as well. It's definitely a good idea to not only pick up rubbish, but spread the word about it too! "We are stronger together than we are alone." In this situation that definitely applies, because we make bigger impact as a group. What are three things you found out about the School Strike 4 Climate? Nice job!

  3. Hi Liletina,
I also think that picking up our rubbish is something people need to learn. If we just throw it on the floor we will end up killing animals like that bird in the picture you shared. How do you think this message should be shared? Keep up the good work.
