LI: To create a piece of insect art.
Inspired by art creations by Raku Inoue we went outside and collected leaves, twigs, and other plant debris to create our own insect images. I found it quite hard to put these leaves and other different of leaves together to make an insect. I enjoyed doing this as I liked making an Dragon Fly and I really enjoyed put these colours together like white and yellow. To make the task more interesting we needed to write 3 cool and fun facts about your insects here are some of my facts.
Here a three interesting facts about an Dragon Fly:
1. Dragon Flies don't usually sting people or bite.
2. They have been around for 300 million years.
3. Groups of Dragonflies are called Swarms.
Malo e Leilei Liletina i like how you told us three facts about a dragonfly and how you explained why doing this activity hard . I like how you thought outside the box and picked random plants , twigs , sticks, flowers to create a insect . I was wondering what are you usually aloud to feed a Dragonfly?

Malo e Leilei Liletina,
ReplyDeleteWow! Your art looks amazing! Its such a great example. It looks so magnificent. I think the most effective part of your design is the different colours of materials and that they are going really good with each other. I also liked that you have chosen a perfect background because it makes the art stand out.
I think your blog post is perfect! The blurb is well explained making it clear for the reader to know what the topic is. I have also completed this task and have made a butterfly. While doing this task I liked that we were being creative but at the same time we were also learning new facts about the insect. What did you enjoy while doing this activity?
Keep up the great work!
