L.I : To create your own comic strip of an imaginary conversation.
My comic strip shows the conversation I imagine these two people had after one of the men had sneezed his teeth into the sea during a fishing trip. I found this challenge really funny as I tried to make this task funny as well. I worked with my partner Densyn from room 5 . I also helped them by working together and understanding what to do.

After reading your comic I can actually think of what they are saying. I also liked how you have said about working together with your buddy as it makes the blurb well explained. I liked doing this activity as I could work with my friends and share each others opinion. Did you find anything tricky in this task?

ReplyDeleteThank you for taking time and answering my question. I really appreciate it! I think in this task the only thing I found tricky was matching the article with the video clip as they were quite different. I think in the article we had four characters including Mr. Stoop, Mr. Slamat, the taxi driver and Janet but in the video we just had Mr. Stoop and Mr. Slamat. Have you ever read a comic before? If yes, which one was it and what did you like about it? If no, would you like to read one and why?

ReplyDeleteFiona here from the SLJ. Well done on creating a very funny Fishy Story comic strip. You have done a great job creating an entertaining dialogue between these two characters - ka pai! Your comic made me laugh which is a sign of an awesome comic! I especially like how you had the two men playing a game of try not to laugh - this was very clever writing.
I hope you are enjoying the summer learning journey. What activities have you found the most fun so far? I really enjoyed the 'build a dam' activity last week - it was fun collecting natural materials and being creative. I also learnt so many interesting facts about beavers!
