LI: To write a quality blog comment on someone else’s blog that starts a rich learning conversation.
The image showing above is an high quality comment I did. I deiced to comment on Malachi's blog. He created his first summer learning task for this year. Leaving an positive high quality comment helps the blogger understand what she/he can change on their next blog post. I think his blog post was really amazing to read as it hooked me into reading what his blog post is about. I also gave him feedback so he can understand what to do on his next summer learning journey task.
Hi Liletina,
ReplyDeleteI can understand your activity because you explained it so well. I think the way you explained the structure of a comment was well done. I like how you included the use of a comment and how it can effect people positively.
Great Job!
Hey Chirs
DeleteThanks for giving an positive feedback on my blog-post. I really enjoyed reading what you liked about my blog-post and what I did really well in my blog post.
Would you give me any feedback to change on my next blog-post?
Thanks Liletina
Kia ora Liletina,
ReplyDeleteGreat job on completing your second activity for the Summer Learning Journey. You have made a quality blog post! It has a detailed blurb which explains the topic clearly, it has a learning intention and also a picture of your work. These points make your blog post perfect and also a good example. I also liked how you have added some of your opinions as well. My question for you is, how do you think comment threads effect our learning?
I am looking forward for your reply!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Renee and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Ka pai for leaving a positive and quality comment on Malachi’s blog. I appreciate how you have taken the time to explain the benefits of leaving comments on other people’s blogs in your post because that is really helpful and shows that you have really engaged with the activity.
In your comment I particularly like how you complimented Malachi on his work and asked him a question about whether he enjoyed the task (and if so, why). This is a great way to form a connection with another learner and potentially initiate a comment thread. Next time, you could think about including a link to your own blog in your comment so that others who read your comment can check out your excellent blog posts as well. Which Summer Learning Journey activities have you been enjoying the most so far this summer?
Remember, when you check out some of the other bloggers’ Summer Learning Journey posts and leave a positive, thoughtful or helpful comment, like you have done for Malachi, you will receive extra points! If you do this, remember to submit a link to your published comment using this form. .
Ngā mihi nui and keep up the excellent mahi - I can’t wait to see your other posts over the summer!
