SUMMER LEARNING JOUNEY / WEEK 4 / DAY 3 / TASK 3

This week for summer learning Journey our task was to see if we want to be a 20 or a 40 hour famine  20 or 40 Hour Famine.  I think that I would not join the 20 and 40 famine because I want to be a sports person!.

  1. Malo E Lelei Liletina,

I have noticed that you have created a blog post on the Summer Learning Journey task. I am also participating in the Summer Learning Journey. What do you enjoy most about doing the Summer Learning Journey? What is a Famine?

    Great Job!

  2. Hi Liletina!,
Great work on participating in the SLJ activities this year. Personally, I would like to join the 20 or 40 hour famine, because it would help raise money. I would love to know a bit more about why you wouldn't join the 20 or 40 hour famine and probably information about it.

    Well Done!

  3. Talofa Liletina! I don't think you understand what the 20 or 40 Hour famine is. This fundraising event helps raise money and bring hope to these children living in poverty in 40 different countries. All you have to do is go through with a 20/40 hour challenge, which is traditionally no food. It really does change lives. If your opinion is still no, I would love to hear a more understandable reason. Make sure you go through the tasks, and the activity slowly...Nice job!

  5. Hi Liletina,
I found the reason on why you wouldn't want to do the 20 or 40 hour famine interesting. I also wouldn't want to take part in it because there are so many other ways that you can help support charity other than giving up something. It is also good that you want to be a sports person - you might become rich and famous and end up donating heaps to charity. Who knows? Keep up the excellent work.
