Role Model / Summer Learning Journey / Week 4 / Day 2 / Task 3
This week for summer learning journey our task was to pick one role Model I picked Beyonce.
We had to write some facts about the role mode we picked!. I learned from this task was role models.
I have noticed that you have created a blog post on Summer Learning Journey | Role Model. I also Idolise her. She is such a powerhouse singer. Just make sure that your images are attributed. What's your favourite song from her? Does she have children?
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter was born on September 4, 1981 and is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Beyoncé performed in various singing and dancing competitions as a child. She rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny's Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Keep blogging, and commenting on others, to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes and to keep up your learning over the school break!
Hi there Liletina! This is another great post from you, I really enjoyed reading your poster about Beyonce. Coincidentally, she was my role model choice as well! I think she is a great leader and an independent, strong woman. She has a accomplished a lot, and has created a very successful career which I look up to her for that. These are some great facts about her, but I would love to know how she is a role model to you specifically? - What do you look up to her for? Well done!
Hello Liletina!, You have a great DLO about Beyonce. You have some interesting facts about Beyonce, but I would love to know how Beyonce is a role model to you and some more information about her. What's your favourite thing about Beyonce?
Wow nice choice for a role model! I had no idea that she was born in Houston, Texas, so thank you for teaching me that fact. I think Beyonce is amazing because she has had such a successful career as a singer, actor, dancer, model and probably many more! Not only that but I also think she is amazing because she actually gives a lot to those who are less unfortunate, for example she donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to charities and even takes part in some of the charity campaigns she supports! I think she has done particularly well for an African American woman which is so inspiring! I really enjoyed reading your post, Liletina and I appreciate you finding an image to attach too! What do you like about her that has made you look up to her as a role model?
Just a gentle reminder that now that you've finished the programme, you can earn many more bonus points and help encourage other students to finish the SLJ programme by leaving thoughtful comments on other students' SLJ related blog posts!
Hi Liletina, I like the poster that you have made on your role model Beyonce. I think that she is a great role model because of the huge success she has made throughout her career. This shows that anyone can achieve high if they are determined. Keep up the excellent work.
