Kiwi Sport/Swimming

L.I To learn safety swimming skills.
Here is what we did at swimming.


Stream Line if you don't know what are stream line is here it is./warm up
Stream Line is when we put our hand had he back of ears and when had to swim to end and if we wanted to breath we had to move one of our arm turn to the side.
We had to swim up and breath and then swim on our back like floating.


Rescue Time.
We had to be in partners my partner was Afatia one has to be in the pool and one has to be out side of  the pool holding a noodle and the person that in the pool has to hold the noodle and the saving the person has to push  the noodle.


Play Time.
Our teacher gave us play sticks our teacher had to throw the stick around the pool and we have to swim down and grab it also we had a challenge the challenge was to swim and get it without sanding up.

Kiwi Sport/Swimming

L.I To Learn swimming safety.
Here is what is what we have learn at the YMCA swimming pools this week.

Stream Line
Stream Line is when we put our hand had he back of ears and when had to swim to end and if we wanted to breath we had to move one of our arm turn to the side.
We had to swim up and breath and then swim on our back like floating.


Swimming on our backs.
We had to swim on our backs so we can put our tummy up not our chest and also that we can have small fast kicks.

Survival stroke
We had to do a dolphin kick like wobbling our body and we also had to kick well we a wobbling our body.

Dolphin dive
For Dolphin dive we had to dive to the bottom of the pool and swim back and up.


Half-Five Swim
We had to half-five our teacher and then swim to end.


I learned new swimming skills.

Kiwi Sport Swimming

L.I To learn swimming Safety
Here is what we did for swimming our swimming teacher was James.

Stream Line
Stream Line is when we put our hand had he back of ears and when had to swim to end and if we wanted to breath we had to move one of our arm turn to the side.

Stream Line Twisting
For this we had to do the same but we had turn around on to our back and cont to six and then turn back around into our steam line and cont to six we ha repeat this over and over.

Stomach touch the ground.
We had to swim under the water and make our stomach touch the ground and then swim back up.


Floating kicking
For Float kicking we had to use a kickborad we had to use the kickborad because we need to learn how to kick under water and kick above the water.

Swim and never stop or stand up.
This week for swimming we had to swim a the other end with our standing up we could use and different kind of swimming skills.

Half-Five Swim
We had to half-five our teacher and then swim to end.

I learned new safety swimming skills.

Swimming & Water Safety

L.I To learn water safety skills.
This week is our first swimming session for water safety. We had to get in groups with  the staff members from the YMCA swimming lesson.
My YMCA swimming teachers this term is Elisibeth we first had to swim to the half of the pool to see if we should stay or go into the other groups. I stayed with Eleisbeth first we had to do a front flips to the other end.
Next we had to do a dolphin swim we had swim underwater touch the ground and swim back up and doing until we get to the middle of the pool.
Then we had to backstroke we had to float on our back and then turn around on to our belly.
Our Last one was when we had to half five our swimming teacher and do and swim style to the middle of the pool.

L.Ito be safe in the water.
Today was our ast day of swimming we we had to do are roll and when our siwmming  teacher says our name and then we could get inside the pool and then we had to go to the platform and we had  steamline and then we hadto swim to the 2 platform.


when we fished we had to swimm agin anf agin so that we could get butter at it swhen we finshed we had to swim on our backs and trun around and the swim on your bell and then trun around when we finshed we had to be in partnerrs and one preson has to be in front and your other partner has to beat the back of you so this is kind of are race but differnt.



so the preson at the bcak has to kick and the preson in the front   has to run and we did so then we had to do it again and then we did and we won it so then for our 2 to last  game we had to get our nodle and then we had to jump on it and we have to bonce tothe other side when wefinshed we had to half five our swimming teacher and then we had to get out of the pool and I said thank you for helping me be safe in the pool and meking me how to learn to swim

swimming

Today for swimming we were learning about swimming to the other side safely so we started  of first we started of we putting our arms next to our straight then start swimming to there  other side we had to do this 5 time or 6.


what we did next we had to are test is to swim to the other side swimming on you belly and the swimming backwards so you have to spin again lintel you get to the other side and when you are swimming on  your belly you have to cont 1 to 5 and then spin around.

when we fished we had to swim into the hula hoop and out from the hula hoop well it is to under the water and we had to do the 3 or 2 times so that we could get butter at swimming under the hula hoop,

when we fished our swimming teacher throw a toy the we had have to swim and get it so we all did we this 1 or 2 time so that we do not need help getting the toys out of the pool.


when we fished we had to throw our own toy into the pool and then swim and try to get so we all did so that we do not have to away need help throwing.

and we fished we had to swim to the other side and we have to clap our swimming teachers hand then swim to the other side and we and we had to get outside of the pool then we had to and get change.

swimmig

Today for kiwi sport we went to the swimming pool and when we got to the pools we went inside the pool but there was not enough people so then we did it together but we only did we the people that really can not swimming  the people that is really good at swimming work with there swimming  teachers .our swimming teacher told us if that this is just are test and we had to try and get inside the pool with using the knowledge  that is safe and he told us to remember that we learned it in when we stared to swim so then we started it so so then we did but i was right so then I had to give an example to the people  to see if they could do it.


when we fished we had to swim to the platform  and our swimming teacher  said that we have to swim on our back and then push our hand forwards and backwards  and I ask why do we use this and he told me that when you are on a river you will not bum you head into the rock .


when we fished we  could do any swimming thing like are dolphin dive so the I did  dolphin dive and then we did it 3 time again when we fished we learn howand then we had make are legs spin a around and our feet.

when we fished we had to half five our teacher and then swimming to the other side and then get out of the pool.

swimming

On Thursday we went out for swimming  when we got there they told us that we have to wear are life jacket we had to wear are life jacket that is tight and that could fit you and I found mine it was tight and it could fit me then they told  us that to sit down on the platform getting ready to get into the water.and they told us to stand up so we are going one by one in to the pools but you have to parented that the water is  are wall and you are going to step into it but then you fall into it so then I started and I went first and what I felt is that I was going to die.


Ont he next round we had were talking about why we put our hand on our heart and we answer I said that because our thort next to and you might die when we finished we had to make are tangle and so that we ha hold why we made are tangle is that we parented that we hare reacsue someone and that we can swim on our back so then we stared I had to hold that life jacket and the person at the back has to home me but swimming on the back.



when we finished doing the tangle we had to make are circle and when 2 people has to be in in it the middle of the circle and we had to put our nee at the top over the water but we are not allowed to put our foot on top of the water .

Next we had to see if we could swim in our back but or nee is on top of the water so then my swimming teacher told me to lie down on you back and put our nee on top of the water an I did and it work after   that er had to swim to the other wall but are race and we all stared and I was 1st and there were other people that  and when we got the wall he told us we had to to swim to the other side but swimming on you back and when we got we had to swim back after that to get up make are line and the you come up and take are shower with the life jacket on and and your swimming togs and when we done they told us that we had to go and get change but do not run.

Today for swimming we were learning how to recuse people and first when we got there we had to sit on the ground and the swimming teachers said that we are going to be in partners and I was with sakina and when we fished doing that they said that we have to go so one person has to be in the pool and the other person has to be out of the pool so sakina when in the pool and sakina need help so the we got are noodle and then we have to make them hold on it and when they hold on it I have to bring them out of the pool and when we fished doing that we had to soup and when we fished doing that we had to go to the other side and at the other side we had to look what they use when someone is drawnning and that we had are rope and we have to hold the rope and stand on the rope and you have to throw it faraway so that they person that is darning   and we have to make sure that we are pretend that we are draining and we had to be in 3 and when we fished doing that we had to listen to them and they said that we need to go because we got are another group.
