Hello and Goodbye / Poem

 LI: To paint a picture with my words


This morning Miss Sheena joined our online Meet and taught us how to write a Hello/Goodbye poem. This poem shows the contrast between things lockdown made us leave behind and the things lockdown gives us the opportunity to do. I am really goood at poems, as I've already worked with Mrs Sheena before, she also has helped me understand how to structure , what we can see, what type of poem is it. 

I really enjoyed doing this as I learnt how to pain an picture in somones mind using words, also expressing my feelings about lockdown, I really miss school to.

Poetry / Online Class

 L.I Create an Listing Poem about any topic.



For writing for we create list peoms. List poems mean's listing differnt things that links to th topic, as example How to make a firend?, my group create an poem listing differnt ideas on how you can make firends, I really enjoyed working on these as I know what Im doing, I understand what I need to do,I know how an List poem's structures as example an List poem uses only one word at the start of each sentinces, and had full stops and captail letters at each sentince. We did this by sharing our ideas and working collabortivtly and understanding how an list poem works,what it looks like and how you can write one.

Iseeme Challenges :

 L.I To finish off some of the Iseeme Challenges. 


The DLO's showing while scrolling down my blog-post is about the Iseeme Challenges, Iseeme is an website that we learn about, Iseeme is a website that helps you identify who you are and understand your culture and indeitity. We started off by chossing one of the six main topics (Objects , Future , Places , People , and Stories ) . We used an tracking sheet to help us know where we are at , These challenges will still be going over the holiday's aswell.

This DLO is about home, on this DLO it talks about Where I think home is to me and what is home to me. Home is to me is where my family belongs, where Im from and where Im raised and born, also about the differnt villages my family came from in tonga. What is home? I think home is a place where Im always happy, I am safe, Where I know why I'm their and who was raised their with me. Home is touched base in the Place Topic.

A Rising Star, For this DLO that I've created  is about knowing someone that has done all for you, has helped you succesed in life and to conutine doing yourself, I picked my older cousin/brother, hes my older cousin but has been like a older brother to me, he has pushed me through alot of things thtrough thin and thick, He has taught me to make sure to pick the right choices. 


Third DLO : 


The DLO showing above was one of the DLO's that I created, drawing an tapa that repersents your family,your culture, your firends and your idenity, I created flowers that repersent the sky as the wind blows, I picked white as it is one of the colours on my culture's flag, Tonga). I really enjoyed doing this as I enjoyed drawing the pictures. 







                                                                    




Equivalent Fractions

 L.I : To undrstand how to expan an Equivalent Maths.



This DLO showing was created to understand How to equivalent Fractions, We first understood how to use Equivalent Fractions also to expan, by expaning our equivalent maths we needed to use our timetables, and understand how we times it, for the question we were working on we understood how to times it by twos. I really enjoyed doing this task as I learnt my times tables.

Ancient Olympic Games Presentation

LI: To skim and scan to find facts about the Ancient Olympics and make notes in my own words.





This week, LS2 has been learning about the Anicnet Olympics that happend in the past, LS2 also showed their DLO's to the class to helps others understand the differnt facts and information that we used to build our DLO. Our group also created an screencastify to show the classrom as some of us were not feeling the best to speak in front of the classrom.  In my Inqiry Group Te-Raumati,Tyson, Moti and I worked collabortivtly to share our ideas on what we should write down. We also used our searching skills to help us write down some intersting facts.  I really enjoyed doing this as I learnt alot of new things about the olympics that first started in 77bc. I also enjoyed and really liked putting imagies onto the DLO as it shows alot more of detail about our learning. 




Hauora

LI: To draw and label your own Hauora diagram.




This DLO, is showing an understanding of the four walls, witch are Taha Tinana,Taha Whanau, Taha Wairua and Taha Hinereingo) If the four wals are standing it builds up your confidents and understands who you are when you set your goal and achive it at the same time. The DLO was created in our inquiry group, We created this by sharing our ideas and collabortivtleying what we need to write, what are the meangings behined the four walls.

For the past few days, Akuhata , Leroy , Rj and I have been understanding and learning about list poems also to understand out writing challenge we're learning with Mrs Sheena. Mrs Sheena has taught us what is an list peom? how you can create an list poem? Click through this DLO, you could understand what is an list poem? and some examples that we wrote of an list poem. We also used our drawing skills to draw some animals , family memebers that describes our poem.

Hauora and Olympicas

L.I To show our understanding of hauora in context, 





Atheletes at the top of their field is to train, menteally, physically and to have an good mindset to keep you motivated, also to have an good minset, This week LS2 have been learning and understanding about the Hauora Walls ( Taha Tinnana, Taha Wairua , Taha Hinerengo , Taha Whanau ). Having the four walls standing is being successful , victory , reperseting your country, losing one wall makes you feel unsuccesful, low self esteen, embarrassed and lost of motivation.

PB4L / Ready for Learning

 L.I To understand how to be ready for learning.




This week’s for PB4L, We’ve been learning about how we can be ready for school, as example getting your laptop charged for the next school day, also by preparing your school uniform for the next day.As you know Panmure Bridge School is a digt My partner and I were talking about about how we must eat breakfast before coming to school, also to eat or else we could lose focus in school, it could also be a lot harder for us to learn properly and to keep focus in school, to be ready for learning.

 LI : To use and understand the connection between the writen code, the block code and the flow chart. 


This is the comparison between the python coding, the blocks and the flowchart for making the microbit act like a dice.

How to stand up to bullies, #Confident Badge 1

 L.I : To create an DLO understanding how we can stand up to bullies.



This term, I'll be working on my confident badge care award. This DLO I created by standing up to bullies, and how we can stop bullies from bullying ourselfs and others. This DLO I've created give alot of explantions understand how you can stand up to them and what you should try at doing if they bullies bully you. One of my examples I think you should try if you getting bullied is think to your head "Why you built like that" "why you like that for" "why you bullyig and think weather she/he would like it if you did the same way they treated you.

Mindfulness Reflection #1


This week Panmure Bridge School is learning about Pause , Breathe and smile. We first started off by understanding the red zone and the green zone. The red zone is the Angry , Worried , Frustrated, Overly Excited and many more emotions. Green zone is when you are feeling calm, balanced, and other peaceful emotions. We did this session to learn how to stay calm and control our emotions. Today we did mindfulness breathing, webreathing, we closed our eyes and Mrs Anderson rang the singing bowl.


How did you feel at the end of the session? How I felt at the end of the session is really calm , relaxed and focused on what's happening right now instead of worrying about what's happening last night, yesterday , and tomorrow.  It helped me focus on myself and control my emotions thats going through my head(Mindset). 

We also needed Value ourself , listen to what our teacher is telling us to do , and having an nice calm quite time.We also needed to listen to the Mindfulness bell that helps us relax our body, that has to be treated as an tonuga, As it bang's it helps us focas on our breathing and haveing a great postive atitude.
