Food Technology / Tech

L.I To practise our knife skills. 
                                                        

This is our first week of Food Technology for the year 7's at Tamaki Collage. This week's food technology task we made colourful fruit salad. We used a yellow and green kiwi fruit, grapes and an orange. Our Food Technology teacher Mrs Heka helped us with our knife skills so that we don't cut ourselves. We needed to remove the skins from the fruit. We cut the two ends off so that the fruit would stop moving as we were cutting it. We cut the orange into segments, which was quite hard to do, but a lot of fun.
