L.I To show you guys how to do a How to do a Back Stroke and  Freestyle.
Today I be showing you guys how to do a back stoke and a Free Style.

How to do Freestyle.'
For Free Style You have have to move you arms in circles and the arm that doing circles has to touch the other hand and then the next hand can do a circles.
With our legs we have to flap our legs underwater because if you do it above the water you will lose power.


How to do a Back stroke.
For Back Stroke you have to lie on you back you have to keep our eyes looking at the sealing you have keep your waist  up so you can balance on the water  probably  you have move your arm in  and out.

Basic Facts Boxes.

L.I To remember my basic facts boxes.
This week for basic facts boxes I get to move on up to 20 I had 6 minters and 12 seconds I am happy I get to move on because my goal was to get up to speed demon up to 20.
This really make me happy.
I learned how to finish my basic facts boxes and move up  to 20.
I learned by getting a answer wrong is OK.

Reading/Synthesis/Flip Grid/ Q,A,R/Change Our School Uniform

L.I To Identify False truths to Synthesis information for the CRAAP test.
This week we did 3 task they were Synthesis/Flip Grid/ Q,A,R.

CRAAP stands for
Currently-The Timeless of the info.
R-Relevance-how the infor fits your needs.
A-Authority-The source of the info.
A-Accurately-Reliability and correctness of the info.
P-Purpose-The Reason why the info exists.   

Q,A,R-Stands for Question and Reasons.

For Our first Task we had to do our knowledge and write what you know about school uniforms we had to write on our Synthesis.Then we could read the article and find out what the book is about.

For Our Q,A,R. We had 10 different questions about the book we had to pick four different questions we had to think which box would it go on,
Four Main Ideas/What It means
Author and I-The Answer is not on text but it come our of your brain.
On my own.-The answer not in the book it in your knowledge
Right There-The Answer is right there.
Think and search-The Answer is in the text but you have to look different places to see if there is a another answer.

The Four Question were:
1-What do you think is missing in the introduction?
2-What does the writer do at the end of the Introduction to capture the reader's Attention.
3- Do you think schools should have a school uniform?Why/Why Not.
4-What is another argument that the writer could use to support the point of

view?

For Our Third Task we had to write our New Information and our New Understand we also had to write a fact about our school uniform.
Here is fact
School Uniforms prevent gang colors and creates because group members in gangs wear group colors to set themselves apart.
Next we had to write a script if you disagree or agree with the writer and write Why then we had to make a flip grid and say your script.

How I learned by showing the teacher and getting Feedback about my work.

Netball/Tournament

L.I To play Netball fair and Square.
For this blog post I be telling you what games we have played and the games we played against. This helps by passing the ball to my other team mates.

First Round
For our first round we played against Te Panama School  I played as Defense and Yes we have won the game the score was 4-1 to us.
I learned from this games is away's run around where you partners is running so you can defense.
  
Second Round 
For the second round we had a game against Glen Brae school but eventually we had a lost by zero point to thirteens.This games tells my team that we need to throw probably to the other team mates this game was a difficult game.
But at least we have tried our hardest and played altogether.


Third Game
For the third game we played against Bailey Road Yes again we won we had 9-2 I was so happy because we already won two games.I need to mark my partner and smack the ball when the ball goes to my partner.

Fourth Game 
For our Fourth game we played against  Syliva park if we win this game we will be playing  against the winner of court  23 for the finals this game was the semi finals. Yes Yes!!! We won again 9-1 this game I was really happy that we could go onto the finals.


Final Game.
The Winner for Court 23 was Tamaki Primary,Yes Yes Yes we have one this game by 8-7 this game a difficult team but at least we won and tried hard. I am so happy we could play against  Tamki primary and beat them.

Writing/Verbs

L.I To Learn about Describing Things.
For Our Writing we learned about Describing things. We had 5 slides with pictures we had to write describing  words about the 5 pictures. The 5 pictures were Flowers,Dessert,Tiger and a Cinnamon Rolls.
We also had to write sentences with the words that we have found about the picture.
Here a some Describing words .
Red,,pink,Grey,Healthy,Sticky,Clean,Unhealthy,Yellow,Colorful.
I Learned what describing things are.
I learned by writing simple sentience. 
My Favorite sentience was Cinnamon rolls look tasty.

Pulleys/Inquiry

L.I To learn what a Pulleys are?.

Meaning  of what is pulleys.

A pulley is a rope and a wheel which is used to lift and lower objects and loads.

We had to work in groups in my groups it was Suila,Bella H,Alayha and me. We used two sicks and ropes it gives it less effort if you loop the string around the sticks. We had to answer the three questions and draw a example of what are Pulleys.

Maths/Measruing

L.I What is a Area and Perimeter.

This week we had to Measure 5 shapes for a practices with our teacher our task was to find 3 items in our class and measure them so we could find the area and the Perimeter.
We also had to write how we found the answer.
My Three shapes were Chrome book,Flashcard and Bingo Game.

We had to make a poster and write down the area and the Perimeter. 

We did this so we could use rulers and not use squares.

I Learned how to use rulers instead of using squares.
How I learned by thinking about the answer.
The tools that I used were Ruler,3 different Items.

This week I commented on Afatia blog post about her basic facts boxes she had 3 minters and 45 seconds to finish her basic facts boxes. But I wanted her to write more on her blurb about what she did what she learned and what tools that she used to finish her basic fact.

For Basic facts boxes I did speed demon up to 10 with my addition I had 3 minters and 10 seconds and I have only have one answer is wrong next time I have to go up to speed demon up to 20.
This was kind of difficult
because some of them I was stuck on but I just think of the answer.

This week I picked the book Blast. I thought the book was about war but then the book was about Pat Hanley arts that he made in his life.
Here a is one of his arts that he made in his life.

Kiwi Sport/Swimming

L.I To learn safety swimming skills.
Here is what we did at swimming.


Stream Line if you don't know what are stream line is here it is./warm up
Stream Line is when we put our hand had he back of ears and when had to swim to end and if we wanted to breath we had to move one of our arm turn to the side.
We had to swim up and breath and then swim on our back like floating.


Rescue Time.
We had to be in partners my partner was Afatia one has to be in the pool and one has to be out side of  the pool holding a noodle and the person that in the pool has to hold the noodle and the saving the person has to push  the noodle.


Play Time.
Our teacher gave us play sticks our teacher had to throw the stick around the pool and we have to swim down and grab it also we had a challenge the challenge was to swim and get it without sanding up.

Creative/Ihumatoa

L.I To create something that you learned about Ihumatoa.
This week we had to do something creative about what we learned with Ihumatoa. I picked a inforgrafic. I picked three topic about what I learned in Ihumatoa.
1-Protect our land and Why.
2-Fletcher should not be building house on our land/why
3-People have the right to sleep at the land.
This helps me because I know what happening to our land.

Kiwi Can/Four Challenges

L.I To finish the four challenges in 1 minute timer and resilience
This week we had four challenges we had to finish. These challenges were to hard for me because I was stuck on the challenge. There were some easy challenges as wheel. like  make your own kiwi can catch Phrase.
Here a the challenges.

To do 5 push up,5 sit ups,5 brubbees and 5 squats
To put the colors in English to Maori
To make your own catch phrase with new dance moves.

What was the most challenging thing about the challenge

To write the alphabet backwards-This was hard because we had to think about the last letter and carry on.

To do 5 push up,5 sit ups,5 brubbees and 5 squats-Because we had to do it probably and I don't really like getting fit.

To put the colors in English to Maori
 These was hard because most of the people in my group was not moari but we sing the color song.

To make your own catch phrase with new dance moves.
It was hard because most of us were stuck on what dance move we should do.

How Did you over come this challenge.
To write the alphabet backwards .
By just reading the alphabet backwards.

By just doing my best and not giving up.

By singing the color song.

By talking and make my own dance move.

This one is really difficult because I couldn't do push up and brubbees . To do 5 push up,5 sit ups,5 brubbees and 5 squats.

I learned how to work together in a groups to finish the challenge.

Cyber-Smart/Poster

L.I To try fix my poster.
For Cyber-Smart we had to try and fix our posters with our print design rules. We had to fix our composition,Color,Layout and Text on our posters. The Posters were bad and our teacher told us that we need to fix the poster with the four main print design rules.
This helps me by fixing bad posters into good posters.
I Learned how to fix posters with print design rules .
How I learned by fixing the bad poster into a better poster.

Speech Finals /

LI: To choose a favourite speech or poem finalists.

Today Panmure Bridge School held a speech competition. Mr. Stevenson from Tamaki College came to our school to judge the people who made it to the speech finals. For the people who did poems I think that Micaela did best for the poems because she was loud and clear. Especially for a five year old. For the year fours to year sixes I think that Fau did the best because she had confidence for the whole time she was up and she also gave a lot of eye contact. For the year eights I think Mele did the best because she had the confidence to speak another language and she gave me something to think about at the end.

Math/Perimeter and Area/Shape changing.

L.I To learn about what is a Area and Perimeter.
Perimeter means the distance around the out side.
Area means Multiply two side to get an answer which  show the total space that the shape has cover.
This week we need paper with small squares we had to change a shape into a another shapes as example can you change a square into a rectangle. We did some practice with our teacher and we had to some more shapes changing.
We had to make sure that the Perimeter is changing and that the area is the same answer.
12+4+12+4=32
12 x 4 =48.
So if we make a  Square into a rectangle we have to keep the area the same and make sure that the   Perimeter changes.
I learned how to change this into that.

Inquiry/ Incline Plain

L.I To learn about what is a Incline Plain.
For our task we had to make a ramp with different kind of materials like cardboard,Cube and a Voiet.
We had two challenges to finish the first challenge is to make a ramp in different kind of moving skills. Our Second challenge was when you car finishing going of the ramp is has to still drive straight.
We had to test these cars on different ramps.
I learned  how to make a car straight down of the ramp.

    For This Task we had to  do an Animation for a wedge we had make a slide with a wedge and then a another slide without a wedge. I had to work in groups in my group was Chisa,AfatiaMacaiyla Deanne and Te Raumati.
I learned what is wedge and how to make an animation with a wedge.

Writing/Speech.

L.I To write a quick persuasive  speech.
 For writing  our task was that we had to say our preasive speech in front of the class. When we finished saying our speech they would rate us 1,2 or 3 with eye contact,Confidence and Not messing around. I felt nervous because I don't really like saying speech and other in front of the class.When went up there I thought to my self to just go up and say my speech.
My Rate was 3 3 3 and yes that I have convinced Mr Wong to think that netball is the best sport.

Reading/Ihumatoa.

L.I Identify the main ideas an a text.
This week or the last slide about Ihumatoa we had to what you think and because the Ihumatoa we had to write three things because why the Ihumatoa I think that the people that is living there or sleeping there for a night has the right to do that.
I wrote 3 reasons why they have the right to sleep there or live there.Next we had to write an conclusion.
I learned how to write three reasons about why people have the right to sleep there or live there.
How I learned by thinking and finding out why they have the right to sleep or live on the land.

This week for basic facts boxes I did speed demon up to 10 I had 3 minters and 15 seconds I had 4 wrong next time I will try and get less then 4 wrong. This basic facts helps me with m addition and my subtraction and it also helps you if you keeping practice and practice.

Inquiry/Lever/Wheels and Axle/ Wind mind paper

L.I To learn about an Wheel and Axle,Lever and how to make a wind mind.
For Inquiry we learned about wheel and Axel we also had to make wind mind. We had to work in partners my partners was Zepplin we had a toy car and we had to test the car around and answer the question as example did the car work better on it side or on it wheels.

On Thursday we had to work in a group of four in my group was RJ,Chrisa,Payton and me. we had ti make a lever with a stick and any other acquirement in our class room we used a stick,Cube,Toilet paper and a our foot. we put the toilet paper in the middle and next we had to put the cube on the stick and I stomp the other side of the stick and I made the cube jump high.

L.I To Learn swimming safety.
Here is what is what we have learn at the YMCA swimming pools this week.

Stream Line
Stream Line is when we put our hand had he back of ears and when had to swim to end and if we wanted to breath we had to move one of our arm turn to the side.
We had to swim up and breath and then swim on our back like floating.


Swimming on our backs.
We had to swim on our backs so we can put our tummy up not our chest and also that we can have small fast kicks.

Survival stroke
We had to do a dolphin kick like wobbling our body and we also had to kick well we a wobbling our body.

Dolphin dive
For Dolphin dive we had to dive to the bottom of the pool and swim back and up.


Half-Five Swim
We had to half-five our teacher and then swim to end.

L.I What is a Area and Perimeter.
Definition for Perimeter-The distance around the outside.

This week we learned about Area and Perimeter. We had to draw 4 different kind of shapes when we fished drawing the 4 shapes we started doing the measurement  and the addition.

Engineer      
Our Engineer was called Head shoulder nee es and toes. For this game we had to be in partners my partner was Zepplin so our kiwi can teacher said Head Shoulder nee es and toes but when he say toes there is a cone in the middle of us and you have try and grab the cone before your other partner does.


Activity 
Our Activity was Emotions acting we had to working groups in my groups was RJ,Akuhata,Liane,Juel and me .Our Card said a teacher leaves 100$  left behind and the students have to show self control or not.

Reading/Ihumatoa

The Lion King/Trip

Today we had a performance from the Ormiston Junior College.
 They were practicing the performance of the Lion king.
They took over 12 weeks to practice and set it all up.
My favorite character in this performance was Rafiki and Younger Nala.
 I like Rafiki because she really good singing.
I like Nala because he is good at dancing and acting.

It took 2 hours because they were performing the Lion king and because we weren't

watching the movie
The principal of the school is called Luke.

Kiwi Sport Swimming

L.I To learn swimming Safety
Here is what we did for swimming our swimming teacher was James.

Stream Line

Stream Line Twisting
For this we had to do the same but we had turn around on to our back and cont to six and then turn back around into our steam line and cont to six we ha repeat this over and over.

Stomach touch the ground.
We had to swim under the water and make our stomach touch the ground and then swim back up.


Floating kicking
For Float kicking we had to use a kickborad we had to use the kickborad because we need to learn how to kick under water and kick above the water.

Swim and never stop or stand up.
This week for swimming we had to swim a the other end with our standing up we could use and different kind of swimming skills.

Half-Five Swim
We had to half-five our teacher and then swim to end.

I learned new safety swimming skills.

This week we had to do simple machines we had to make the simple machines with our body and our other team mates. We had to make this machines with our body because we wanted to see if we could do it without the Blindflorders and with the blindfloders.

Resilience means copying challenges and bouncing back.
For kiwi can we learned about Emotions and we talked about.

Engineer 
Our Engineer Emotions card.
For this game each of us had a card and a name of emotion. We had to find the emotion that is the  almost the same. My Emotions was Laughing so I had to find happy,Smiling and does emotions that link to happy.

Activity 
Our Activity was Emotions acting we had to working groups in my groups was Suila,Leon,Alayha and me. Our Card said a person that is scared  but there best friends come and supports them

3D Shapes making.

L.I Make,Name and describe polygons and other plane shapes.
This week we had to make 3D shapes with Faces,Edges. We started by drawing 4 Squares that are connected together then one square on top of the middle square and one at the bottom of the middle square.
Next we had to cut it out but then our teacher told us how is it going to connect. We had to talk about how are we going connect the sides so it can be a cube. Our teacher said Tabs we had to go and rest start and made one when we fished we had to Gule  the tabs to the Face.

We could make a Pyramid. Our teacher gave us a hint the hint was that we could measure it to 2cms to the end of the edge. and then make a triangle.

Staying with Rm2/No Video chat

L.I To Help kids and finish some work done.
This week I did not go to Motat  trip I went to Rm2. I fist went on my chrome book stated finshing my work next I went on to a video chat witch I shouldn't went on so this week I will doing cyber-Smart not video chatting because it could be bad.
I went to help some kids that didn't get there work next we had to take the kids to the library we had to bring them inside and make sure they are finishing there work. Next we could make a spounge art.
