L.I To learn how to be safe on the water.
This week is the last week for swimming I had fun doing swimming skills.
We had to find a life jacket that could fit us we put the life jacket on then we came and sit on the wall.
Next we had to swim from the half way to the other end of the swimming pool with our life jackets . We had to get in small groups so we can make a change this helps us with we are in the water to keep together and no one get lost.
For the next swimming skill we had to huddle together this helps us because if it windy or cold and if we do the huddle then we will be warm.
Our next one was to dive like a pencil dive we had to dive and touch the floor and come back up.
For last and final one we had to go to the wall stand up and put on hand at the back of your head and then we had to put other hand on top of our belly we had to jump into the water this helps us so we don't hurt or head.
We had to half-five and jump into water.
I had the best time at the swimming pools.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Mrs Anderson and Mrs Fisi'iahi.

LI: To remember basic facts maths.
My time was 3 45s and I did all my addition questions.My time was 3 minute and 45 seconds . Yay !!! i have beated my old time that was 4:00 minutes.

For this task we had to find the time in different countries when it was 6pm in Japan. An example we had to find time for Canada. The time in USA CA: 2am and NY: 5am. This helps by learning different time in other countries.

Places to visit in Japan/Inquiring
L.I To find 5 different places to visit.
My Group(Ong,Bella J,Sepleman and me)Picked 5 different places in Japan the 5 different places were Mt Fuji,Tokyo,Nara and Osaka. We had to write facts and why we want to vist that place as example if I got 1000$ and I want to go to Mt Fuji I can explain why I want to visit Mt Fuji and give some Interspersing facts that will hook my mum to make go to Mt Fuji.

Simple Machines/ Rube Goldberg/ Inquiry
L.I To learn about the five simple machines and apply what you learnt to make a Rube Goldberg machine.
Our Rube Goldberg machine was to use a putter. We had to try and make the putter hit the ball into the goal. My Movement was a Lever I had to do it because I am pushing the marker which push the ball and makes the ball go down the tunnel then goes through a hole down and push the putter. It helps the person that is holding the putter so they know went to hit the ball to go threw the goal.
My thought was that our simple machine was going to fail because the ball did not go threw the hole(Pulley).
My challenge was making sure that my finger pushes the marker.
Our simple machine we used was a putter.
We had to make a plan because we wanted to see use that plan and create that simple machine.
The Most challenging thing about simple machine was the ball touching the putter.

4-Inclined Plane.

L.I To learn the past and future.
For this task we had to find our the year the rugby world cup as example the 20th rugby world cup is 2059. We also had to write how old we are going to be when we in that year.
In 2059 I will be 50 years old . This helps me by knowing what year the rugby world cup will be. I also learned that there are four years between rugby world cups.This helps me because I added four to each year to get the answer.

Basic Facts Boxes
Swimming/Kiwi sport
L.I To learn new safety skills.
For Swimming we had to Back Free Stroke to the plat form and then back. We had to repet it 2 but it was challenge because we need to do it bye our self unsted of our swimming teacher telling us. We had to do it again but we had to turn into our back so we can breath. Then we had swimming race we had a swimming race so we can see if who is the fast swimmer in our swimming class. We had to get in 3 groups in my group was Anglica Afatia and me Afatia went in to the finals so she had to vs the other groups winners.

L.I What is Flip, Rotation, and Translation and Refection
We did the pencil code so we can figure out a way to get to the finish line with the bomb grid we also had to make a screen castfiy our work when we finished.
We had to make our Owen bomb grid and do it on a website called pencil code there were 3 ways turn right,turn left and move forward.
We made bombs in our coding this is a 6x6.

Kiwi Sport/Swiming

L.I What is Flip, Rotation, and Translation and Refection
For maths our work was to do a Bomb grid a Bomb grid is game with 5 squares in 4 groups there a two bombs in a square but they have to be different squares. We had to go pass every squares and get to the finish line .
We had to make sentences with the arrows so the reader can understand where the arrow is going and where I think the arrow could go to.

this book is also about a little girl that is grade three that is a mermaid and that swim with unicorns. I like this book because it a little girl and other book mostly have like grade 6 girls in books.
I don't like about this book is because it to child ish i wanted to be like grade 6 girls that could read as well.
