what is volume?

Today we had to talk about what is volume and then we had to measurement and then we had to put into a blow and then we a put blockers into the water and we had to get a blue or red marker and when the water grow up we have to mark how long the water goes and we had uni link cubes and we had blocker. what is volume? volume is how much something take up. The wooden cube had a large volume than the uni link cube had a smaller volume The  triangular pyramid and the triangular prism have the same volume.
